The O2 Arena
When visiting London, there are always a few major feature attractions that spring to mind. In the past, these would usually start off with Buckingham Palace, Big Ben or the Tower of London. However, since another millennia passed, there are a couple of new attractions in town.
Nowadays, people marvel at the Millennium Bridge, the London Eye and of course the Millennium Dome. This dome was constructed to welcome in the third millennium. It housed an impressive exhibition called the Millennium Experience. Unfortunately the dome, its costs, political issues and the exhibition all proved less popular than predicted.
However, the Millennium Dome was saved by O2 (or at least its structure was). The dome was taken over by O2 and the attraction was rebranded as the O2 Dome. It contains a huge indoor arena, which is often referred to as the O2 Arena.
The O2 Arena houses an all-inclusive range of entertainment. On top of the arena and its shows, there is a cinema, an exhibition area and piazzas, bars, shops and restaurants all in the area. Full details and entertainment options can be found at ironworkslondon.co.uk.
